Personalities:

 

Rich DavisMay 27, 1970 – WKIP broadcast the Mets in 1970 and Rich did a pregame show before every game.  Here is the only known surviving copy of his show.

 

Mel Blanc – WKIP purchased a comedy package from Mel Blanc’s production company.  Here is Mel introducing the WKIP lineup in late 1970.

 

Rob Roy - 1974 – Rob Roy did the 7-midnight show in the early 70s.  Every night at 10pm, he reminded parents about their children.

 

Culture Vulture III - May 11, 1975Hosted by Dr. Bryce Allen Gorman, the program featured interviews with area performing artists, classical music and opera.  In this clip, Dr. Gorman interviews guests Estelle and Alfonso.

 

Rich Stevens - 7-22-79 – This is vintage Rich Stevens – lots of jingles, reverb, and production.  Listen for a bit of Ingram and Bob-a-loo as well.
