Each Sunday after church the people of Amity meet in our Chapel Hall for a time of refreshment.
It is not always this elaborate. Sometimes we just have coffee or tea and maybe a sweet roll. On this
particular day we are saying goodbye to our beloved organist. Ellen cuts the cake as Daron and John
get ready to enjoy. Donna and Pieter watch from behind.

At Amity we strive to get to know our God better every day of our lives. We also feel it is important to get
to know each other. This enables us to care and pray for those experiencing difficulties in their lives. We
laugh a lot and we have some serious discussions also. Mia, Joanne, and Sue are enjoying their coffee.

We take time to talk about our coming fund raisers and who is going to do what. Many volunteers are needed
to make it go and many hours of talking. Dovieanna is talking with Malcolm and Mary Jo at the left of the picture
while Margit, Bob, and Nikkie visit at the right.

Little did I know when I took the picture that Pastor Dave was experiencing difficulties with a leaky plastic cup.
Good thing it was helpfully pointed out by Debbie before it ended up on the front of him. We are always trying to help each
other out at Amity.
