Desi (New York)

Desi (New York) is a 4 - 5 year old male (neutered) blue merle Aussie & weighs in at 55 lbs.  Desi is up to date on his shots, heartworm tested (negative), is on HW preventative & flea preventative, is housebroken & crate trained. .  Desi is looking for a home where someone is there more than not – see he LOVES his humans.  Not your typical Aussie, Desi very rarely barks, only when he sees you're awake and greets you with soft woo woo in the morning,  He is ok with cats & other dogs, but truth be told he wouldn't mind having all the attention.  Dez will require a fenced in yard. Desi is currently residing in Syracuse, NY.

Madison (Maryland)

Madison (Maryland) is a 5 year-old red-tri Aussie who is quite large at 84 pounds. Some of that is excess weight that could be taken off by exercise and diet (sound familiar?). She is current on all health care. Madison sits, lies down and comes when called most of the time. She will give you her paw. Madison loves to play ball and will wear you out doing so if you let her. She loves everyone - both people and dogs and doesn't have one ounce of shyness about her. Madison is very friendly and will play with anyone who will play with her. Madison stays half indoors but would prefer to be outside most of the time. She needs a securely fenced yard as she will escape if possible or she must be with someone who will not let her loose outside. She likes to walk on a leash but still pulls when she sees another animal. Madison likes to jump so should not go to a home with young children as she will knock them over. She also should not go to a home with cats as she likes to chase them. She's fine with other dogs but if her new home has another dog, it needs to be with one that will keep up with her physically as she still thinks she's a puppy. She still has plenty of energy in her. Madison is fine when left alone. She loves to go in the car for rides. Madison does tend to bark a lot and is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks.
Madison's family loves her but medical and other family issues are forcing them to find her a new home as soon as possible.

Cubby (Vermont)

Cubby (Vermont) is a 3 year old neutered male Aussie.  He is well mannered, sweet, and active.  Cubby is good with other dogs and likes to play.  Cubby is fine with cats.  He is housetrained and has nice household manners.  Cubby is looking for a home that will stimulate his busy mind and keep up with his training.  He would excel as a sport dog and would love agility!

Cubby can be suspicious of men and needs slow positive introductions.  He responds well to treat training and befriends quickly that way.  Cubby will excel in a home that has experience with herding dogs.
