So you think you may want to go it alone. Not a bad way to do it. Takes some time but it's a lot of fun. There are some things you will need. Since I borrowed from these sites and scripts, I'll save you some time and give you the best I've run across.

Domain name hosting, Multiple or unlimited POP accounts, Multiple or unlimited E-mail aliases, Autoresponders, Full FTP/Telnet access, Unlimited use of forms and CGI scripts, Virtual Hosting SSL for secure transactions, 24 hour tech support, Full support of RealAudio/Video, Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions, Web statistics, Database engine such as MySQL, Online site management tools. If all of this is too much to comprehend, just us our team.

Once you find a host, you'll need some basic scripts ( java, dhtml) if you want your site to look professional.

Sure you can use Yahoo and others, but do you want the annoying corner pop ups and advertisements? Not real professional. Anyway here are some to consider.

Meta Tags

When you get your site together, it will need to be noticed on the search engines, there for you can use this to build tags
