Volunteer Infantry (Nine Months) September 4, 1862; mustered in October
18, 1862 as Corporal; mustered out August 20, 1863 as Coporal; volunteered
for storming party at Port Hudson, LA under G.O. No. 49, Headquarters
Dept. of the Gulf, June 15, 1863.
