National African American History Month is observed each February as a time to recognize the contributions of African Americans to the culture at large. This celebration has its origins in Negro History Week, which was established in 1926 by Dr. Carter G. Woodson. Ms. Allegro’s Introduction to Marketing & Management Classes at Schenectady High School is learning about African American Entrepreneurs during the month of February. The class project includes the following: · A tribute to African American Entrepreneurs is displayed in front of room B1. · This Web Site is linked to the Global Commerce & Scores-Up Web Sites and · Weekly announcement to the High School on African American Entrepreneurial contributions. |
