The 13th Annual Wynn Sorkin Memorial Tennis Tournament was held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007. According to Sorkin's son-in-law and long time Albany Tennis Club member, Steve Steinhardt, Sorkin "had always wanted to create a low-key, fun-filled tournament that was geared to senior players, and would not have a 'one loss and out' format." The tournament honors Wynn Sorkin, a long term member and former vice president of the Albany Tennis Club. Wynn was also a well known Masters athlete in track and field, competing at the Empire State Games in the shot put, discus, hammer and javelin. Briscoe and Hutson Win Senior
