XR-A4 SPECIFICATIONS

Processor ATmega8 on custom perfboard
Sensors Lynxmotion Tracker,
2 GP2D12s(eventually)
Actuators 2 Solarbotics GM8, 70RPM Motors,
mounted with Solarbotics mounts,
SN754410 (ARC1.1 style connections)

Xr-A4 is my basic test bot. I mainly use it for testing out new sensors and new pieces of code for AVRRA (The AVR Robotics API).

Currently I am using A4 to develop drivers for XBee wireless modules and the AVRcam. I've also coded basic line following for this robot as an example to beginners. A4 is the first of several robots that is using an LM2940 5V LDO regulator coupled to only 7.2V - so far results have been very good.
