When not boosting (< 1/3 throttle) I can barely hear a difference. When you go past 1/3 throttle, a satisfying click from the bypass valve closing can be heard distinctly. Then, the blower start to whine and you're off to the races.
The extra power is very noticable and very smooth.
I haven't yet tested or pushed my car with the JRSC, so that will have to wait for the next update. 6" of snow today and the fact that I have 14" steel wheels with snow tires on will also affect my testing schedule!
Believe it or not, my wife thinks the car is quieter now than before! She claims a particular low frequency sound that bothered her has disappeared. Bonus.
This morning (1/14) it was 0 degrees Farenheit and it started right up and drove great. Merging onto the Thruway this morning gave me my first taste of the JRSC in the context of other cars. I floored it and headed over to the fast lane and was surprised at how soon I had to get off the gas to avoid rear-ending the 80mph traffic!
