The first thing wrong I noticed was, "Hey, I'm missing the 'L' bracket and the nut!". The people at hostboard told me that the "L" bracket is not used on the new kits because there is already a hole tapped for the bolt on the lower alternator bracket. Now the problem is that there is a big piece of iron (front axle support?) that only leaves an inch or two in front of the hole the bolt is meant to go in. I was able to attach everything only after I:
1) Threw out the spacer.
and
2) Cut 1/2" off the bolt and used a Dremel tool to grind down the first thead. This was needed because it is an akward place to start a bolt and the hole is not beveled.
If you have the support bracket when you install the JRSC, attach the strap to the lower alternator bracket before installing the intake manifold. It might get in the way and need to be removed, but if it doesn't, you'll be thankfull.
