                              Founder's Bio
 

Dr. Moore's interest in the paranormal dates back to the 1960s. He was always an avid consumer of stories of ghosts and the unexplainable, but was also keenly interested in separating fact from fiction. As a young man he seriously considered a career in parapsychology. However, at the time few recognized educational programs in the field existed and career opportunities in parapsychology were few and far between.

Practicality won out and he pursued a formal education in the fields of psychology, anthropology and education. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York @ Albany where he dually-majored in psychology and anthropology. He also earned graduate degrees in psychology and education from Southern Connecticut State College and Lehigh University, respectively. Prior to returning to the Capital District, he worked as a psychologist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey schools. 
 

Over the past four decades Dr. Moore has continued his extra-collegiate study of parapsychology and hauntings. He has traveled extensively across the U.S. interviewing scores of individuals that have lived or worked in haunted places as well as investigating many reportedly haunted locations.  He frequently lectures on hauntings and often writes for magazines on investigative or paranormal topics. He has  written for Fate, Ghost, and Haunted Times Magazines.
