USS Excelcior - NCC 2000

This is the second of two Excelcior models I have built. The impulse engines glow red and the shuttle bay glows blue when the ship is lit. The windows (over 600 of them) are all fiberoptic. They are so small that you can only really notice them when the ship is lit up.

The color scheme is identical to the Enterprise B's (both models were done at the same time). I did this because the modelmakers for Star Trek modified their Excelcior model to make the Enterprise B (Paramount has only 1 model for the 2 ships).
