Who is Jason Stern?
Well, I live in Saratoga Springs New York, where I spend most of my time finding new and creative ways of wasting time. (this web site should be proof of that)
After graduating from Pearl River High School in 1991, I came to Troy, NY for college. I spent 3 years at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and 1 year at Hudson Valley Community College (Happy Valley Country Club is also acceptable). During that time I joined their respective school newspapers and I produce the comic strip "Silver Lining" (formerly named "And I am Outta Here!!").
Now, I am employed by Therion International, LLC in downtown Saratoga Springs (behind Ben & Jerry's).
For fun, I build models (they are displayed on my "Wall of Shame" ). It is widely considered to be a monument to too much free time.
I am a brother of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. We have done such noble things as hold an Easter egg hunt. Of course, we have done some "not so noble" things, too. (Don't kid yourself. Jesus never did 100 shots). Although I no longer spend much time at "The Old Gal" I still keep in touch with the friends I made there.
As a former member of "Team Bitter", I was required to be eternally bitter. Now I drink Guiness so that my beer is bitter for me. My team-mate in "Team Bitter" (A.K.A.-"Team Surface Tension") was also my apartment-mate for the 1996-97 school year, Keith Koval. SPOON!!! (You got a problem with our battle cry?!)
Other than that, my life is pretty boring.
Maybe one day I will realize my dreams of ruling over the monarchy with a kind but firm grasp of terror. For now, paying the phone bill would be nice.
