Ale or Lager, Pilsner or Stout, regardless of the kind of beer you prefer, the U.S.brewing rennaisance of the past few years has made finding quality beer easier than ever before. Albany, N.Y. does have some very good options for the beer lover if you know where to look. Between 5 good brewpubs and a couple of first class taverns which cater to beer enthusiasts, you can explore the wide range of ales and lagers that if Anhauser-Busch or Miller brewing had their way, you would never be able to find in the U.S. I suggest you try all of the establishments and would love to hear your opinions on the brews.
