About Me |
![]() |
| I'm one of those late comers to the computer, I started playing with them back in 1985 (actually started on a Commodore Vic 20 no less!). Since then, these things seem to take up more and more of my time & money. I currently use/play with a 2.53GHz Pentium IV running WindowsXP while I begin planning my next generation computer system (plan never ends). I had played with mainframe computers back in college (freshman year even), but was un-impressed until the Personal Computer came along. As soon as I could turn-off the computer whenever things went crazy I suddenly felt very empowered to explore, and hence I started the journey I'm on today. Of course, once I got in touch with the Web I was entranced even farther - which is why you are reading these pages now! |
![]() The Capital District |
I live in what is known as the Capital District of Albany,
New York (USA). Besides computers my next
favorite hobby is riding bicycles and usually try to have
one fairly big bike ride a year. Last
big bike trip was to Montreal, Canada up through
the Adirondacks and back to the Capital District by way
of Vermont. On my prior
bike trip I
took a train to Buffalo so that I could ride back to the
Capital District by way of the Erie Canal. Each
year I also ride in the Tour
De Cure fund raiser for Diabetes. Finally, I also enjoy relaxing by just hanging out at our family camps up at Lake Desolation, New York. |
