I started this garment in a class with Rachel Clark-whose main influence was to keep me running back to the vendors to buy more fabric for the jacket. It uses the Hoffman Fabric "One Universe" and was accepted into the Hoffman Challenge traveling exhibit in 1993. On the back I stitched "Many fabrics pieced together make one quilt. Many people together in peace make one universe." |
