Hand dyed fabric was used for the squares which were cut apart and pieced, then stitched with irregular satin stitch lines. The background fabric was hand painted and dyed. It was heavily quilted with various threads.The quilt represents to me the shockwaves that can rapidly rip apart our sunny days.
