• Jonesville United Methodist Church, Jonesville, installed new LED bulbs in their exit signs and have been replacing their fluorescent lights with more efficient models.
• Karuna Tendai Dharma Center, Canaan: Here are photos of the dedication of their new "green" temple
• St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church in Syracuse has been hard at work making their building more energy-efficient...and cost-effective. They're replacing an entire wall of single pane windows, which will not only save energy and money, but will surely increase the comfort of their facility. They're also replacing ballasts with more energy-efficient models.
• Tully United Community Church, Tully NY - energy stewardship as part of a comprehensive creation stewardship mission

• Unitarian Universalist Church, Canton NY
• University United Methodist Church in Syracuse is replacing all of the sanctuary lights with dimmable compact fluorescent light bulbs. They're also replacing their exit signs with LED exit signs.

Michigan

• Solar Hot Water System at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church - St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Wyandotte received a $4,990 Community Energy Project Grant in October 2001 to demonstrate a solar hot water system.
• St. Charles Church and School - The Michigan Energy Office published this case study about St. Charles Church and School, a church and school in one building. Ground source cooling was installed for the church only. The school has no cooling, but the heat for both the school and church is provided by the church's hot water boiler.
