Tips:
On
first becoming Disciple, a monster gains 20 Spell Points. At a second
temple, 40 more. [One of Jack's little glitches, this time in our
favor!] After that, about 20 for each temple, capping out at his/her
20th temple. It appears to be a random number, since I've seen Ruks
of similar attributes gain both 18 and 26 at the same temple within
days of each other. Those are also the minimum and maximum gains
I've seen. 'Tween turns you regain 1/5 of your maximum SP, up to
your maximum. This happens at the beginning of your camp, before
any nocturnal activities. [BTW, Health gains occur at the end of
camp, and are boosted if your health is particularly low.] -- The

Certain plants can only be harvested at intervals, when they're
ripe. All are ripe for 2 Game weeks, but are unusable for 2 weeks
[the most common, purple lotus] to 13 weeks [the very rare black
lotus]. Cash value matches their rarity, 1 ocular for a purple to
a whopping 80 for each black! -- The Ancient Sage

Some creatures are favored by the 3 gods. For Kabukis and Shroudies,
killing your opponent god's pets gain you favor with your god. To
the tune of a few points of health regained [at your next kowtow]
for each kill, and a hearty 'well done'. Normally you won't fight
one of your god's favorites, but it can be done with an Attack order.
A starving Fuvite might use this to feast on Tusker meat or gather
the tusks for his fort. -- The Ancient Sage

All those odd coins you collect? Zoingo, Kwando, what to do with
them? They sometimes have uses. Kwando aviators will credit you
with twice the going rate for guilder coins when booking a flight.
A certain quest in the Zargnoth can be done only with lotsa Zoingot
coinage. -- The Ancient Sage
