This
is a picture of the last time I took pictures at Yankee stadium. I believe it was a 2002 post-season
game. They lost and the trauma of this
event has given me amnesiaJ
It’s a mediocre picture of a mediocre game but its Yankee Stadium and always a
joyous occasion. Minutes later I
almost caught a ball…well I was almost hit by a ball…sort of the same thing. It took 3 innings to get the guy who DID
catch it to throw it back. Obviously
the bad guys hit the home run.
Recently
(10-06-04) Mark and myself went down to a postseason game. We had just come from the American Museum of
Natural History and the game was icing on the cake. We had seats in the nosebleed section overlooking the home-3rdbase
line…across from home plate. The Yanks had
a come-from-behind win in the 12th inning. The place was CRAZY.
Great seats, great day, great game.

(05-10-06)
I
usually attend a couple games a year and this was the first one in 2006. Mark and I had spent a wonderful morning at
the Bronx Zoo and got a bunch of great shots there. We put down the big cameras and I captured this with the little
digital Elf. We had great superb seats
directly behind home plate at a Red Sox game and, while the crowd was no more
rowdy than at any Sox game, people were getting thrown out right and left. Here we see Posada at the plate a hundredth
of a second before he hit a home run. He’s already started his swing.
Nobody is watching, as there is
a huge disturbance a few rows away. I
got the shot:)
