[1649/50]. On 12 Feb 1671 [1671/2], he conveyed to son John; contingent
heirs, daus. Sarah and Hannah. Ann, the wife of Humphrey is also
a HYDE from a different branch of the family. She is related to Edward
Hyde, the First Earl of Clarendon and minister to Charles I and Charles
II. Edward's daughter married the Duke of York who later became King
James II.
