St. John the Baptist Church, located at 1025 Kinderhook St., Valatie, N.Y., is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany. It is the spiritual home for 1050 Catholic families in Northern Columbia County. The parish was founded in 1869, and our beautiful blue stone church was built in 1906
