Dear Birthmother,

We can’t imagine the range of emotions you must be going through right now. Open adoption appears to be a great answer but I’m sure that still doesn’t take away the fear of uncertainty you still must be feeling.

I’m not sure what we can write here that will take that away for you completely but we can tell you about what your child’s life will be like if you decide to gift us with your child.

Since we’ve been married we have been making all our dreams come true except one. The dream of raising children in our loving home seemed to come to an end when our infertility was insurmountable. We have learned to accept the fact that although we can’t have a child with our DNA, that doesn’t mean our dreams of raising children and expanding our family, needs to end.

 We currently have a wonderful, sweet adorable dog that needs a sibling to absorb the overabundance of smothering kisses he receives from his mother on daily basis. His forest walks with his dad would be so much more fun with a child running along side. Grandma looks forward to spoiling her first grandchild with love and goodies for every occasion. Our parents will play a large role in the lives of our children.

We are both blessed with close knit families that truly enjoy spending time with one another, not just on holidays. Through the difficult times of our lives, we have both realized that it is partially our families and partially our faith that have carried us through it all and made us better, stronger people. They pushed us to achieve our goals and our highest good through work and play and we look forward to passing on those values. We intend to expose them to all that life has to offer and will support them in any healthy path they choose.

You should know that if you choose to place your child with us, that your child will be raised in a very spiritual household. We remember to give thanks for all of our blessings. We honor all religions and all faiths as valid paths as long as they are practiced in perfect love and perfect trust.
