HEAD BORE AT CYLINDER #3 (JUST AHEAD OF THE GRAY FUEL INJECTOR CONNECTION)  NOTE HEAVY BROWN DEPOSITS.

DAMAGED IGNITION COIL FROM NUMBER 6 CYLINDER.  TOP OF COIL MASHED IN DUE TO CONTACT WITH FUEL RAIL UPON EJECTION OF SPARK PLUG.

NUMBER 6 IGNITION COIL. NOTE BROKEN CYLINDER HEAD MOUNTING EAR.

NUMBER 3 CYLINDER: IGNITION COIL AND PLUG, PLUG WAS SO LOOSE IT COULD BE REMOVED BY HAND.  NOTE BROWN DEPOSITS ON PLUG INSULATOR AND ON COIL BOOT.

SHOP VAC ATTACHMENT CREATED TO REMOVE DEBRIS FROM INSIDE CYLINDER BORE DURING INSERT APPLICATION.  THE YELLOW DISC IS A PLUMBING TEST PLUG, 2" DIAMETER.  THE HOSE IS 1/4" I.D. x 3/8" O.D.  THE BARBED FITTING IS 1/4" x 3/8".  ELECTRICAL TAPE WAS USED ON THE SIDE OF THE TEST PLUG TO CREATE A GOOD SEAL ON THE SHOP VAC HOSE.   THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY COST $1.95 (EXCLUDING TAPE).  WORKED GREAT.

IMAGE OF THE BIG-SERT KIT USED TO REPAIR THE NUMBER 6 CYLINDER SPARK PLUG PORT.  THIS KIT WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY.  I SAVED ABOUT $2,600 DOLLARS BY DOING THE JOB MYSELF. IT TOOK ABOUT 3 HOURS TO DO THE JOB.  PRODUCT PERFORMED AS ADVERTISED.
