This is the place where we will thank the litany of service providers who made our day so special and so unbelievably successful. If anyone would like more information on anyone on this list, please contact us at feckman@nycap.rr.com. We would unequivocally recommend any and everyone here. In fact, there was no real standout--everyone did such an outstanding job. Therefore, we'll just go alphabetically...

  • The Adelphi Hotel: What can we possibly say that wasn't said by almost all of our guests? The Adelphi was certainly at the center of it all. From the exquisite surroundings to the impeccable service to the delectable food, it was a slice of heaven here on earth (and quite a big slice at that!) Thanks so much to Sheila and Gregg for their obvious love of their hotel and their commitment to excellence. They made us feel as though our Wedding Day was as important to them as it was to us. And to their wonderful staff, especially Andrea and Susan--Andrea for the months (or was it years?) of putting up with our neuroses and nit-pickiness, and Susan for putting up with one VERY intense night of it. Again, thanks to you all...it was beyond our dreams, let alone our expectations.

  • Albany City Trolley: Thanks to Albany City Trolley for adding a touch of nostalgia to our wedding transportation. Herman the driver did an excellent job shuttling the wedding party and our guests between the park and the Adelphi. He was friendly and professional, and was even great at helping the bride with her train!

  • Allerdice Rent-All: Allerdice supplied the white chairs for our ceremony. Debbie was instrumental in the decision regarding where and how to set everything up. Her "no problem" attitude about everything from cost issues to concerns about the weather was reassuring to say the least! Especially with Tropical Storm Josephine threatening rain.

  • Dave Bibbins Photography: Well, his work speaks for itself, as you can see by browsing through this site. Assisted by his girlfriend, Vickie, Dave went to work. He is not only an exemplary photographer, being everywhere he should have been (sometimes all at once!), but he is a great friend. Before the ceremony, Dave told us that once the formals were over, he would "disappear" into the festivities, and that the only way we would know he was there is by the occasional flash of his camera. This is exactly what happened. We asked him to take pictures. What he did was capture an event. Dave, we couldn't have asked for more...Thank you.

  • The City of Saratoga Springs: Two years prior to the wedding, Carol in City Hall graciously reserved our spot in the park. She even bent some seating rules, but we won't get into that! She also made sure that the Spit 'N' Spat fountain which provided such a soothing backdrop for our ceremony remained running. Also thanks to the Department of Public Works who allayed our fears that the construction job that had Broadway torn to pieces in front of the Adelphi and down Spring Street would be completed in time for our wedding. In fact, not only was it completed, but we had a fresh new layer of blacktop to boot!

  • Duo Dolce: During the planning of our wedding, Melissa was intent on a harpist, while I was interested in a string quartet. However, when we heard the dulcet tones of Duo Dolce, we were both sold. Joe Hetko on classical guitar and Alison Jacob playing the flute added exactly the romantic touch we hoped for during our ceremony and cocktail hour. They even took the time to transcribe Einini, a very special piece to us which was played during the parent recognition and unity candle lighting portions of our ceremony. This very same piece is used as the background music to our wedding home page. We truly appreciate both their talent and their obvious dedication to their craft. It made our wedding that much more unique.

  • Golden Feathers Floral: Joani is so much more than a florist. She is an artist, wedding consultant, counselor, architect and seamstress all rolled up into one. Her floral arrangements were artfully designed and exquisitely arranged. The colors and types of flowers perfectly complemented our autumn Victorian theme. From the early meetings almost a year before the ceremony to the day itself, Joani was on top of it all. Kudos to a woman with endless energy and infinite style. You can see two excellent examples of her work here and here.

  • Rev. Joan Kahn-Schneider: Reverend Joan was instrumental in making our wedding the type of event we had only dreamed of. Her guidance and wisdom were a beacon of light even when we set out on our own to find the words to express our love for each other ourselves. Because of her, our wedding ceremony was able to encompass the spirituality we both feel without compromising our convictions. We can't thank her enough for providing this service...it is indeed priceless. Her unique style and insight enabled all of us to focus on the true meaning of the day. She has created for us memories which will last forever.

  • McGetrick's Bridesmaids' Boutique: For a year and a half before the wedding, the McGetrick's staff primped, preened, bustled and tailored the perfect bridalwear for both the bride and bridesmaids. Millie at McGetrick's Their unending patience with Melissa's need to try on one of everything before making a decision ultimately led to the perfect dress. They were continually a pleasure to work with during the many road trips to Ghent to take care of all the details.

  • Metro DJ: We can't say enough about how satisfied we are with the night's music. We were a little unsure about how many people would be up dancing, but when we saw that Jon was able to literally fill the dance floor during the salad course of our dinner, we knew we were in for quite a night! His segues into the requisite events of the evening, like the announcements and the formal dances, were surpassed only by his seamless mixes of the music. We received countless compliments on him throughout the night. Thanks, Jon!

  • Miscellaneous Thanks: Miscellaneous thanks go out to many others. Especially my friends and colleagues, Jim and Joe Mastrianni for helping with suggestions whenever I got stuck somewhere during the development of this site--like the screen-shot fix, okay, Jim? :). Also, while I did 99% of all the artwork on this site, I did swipe a couple icons from an archive or two (like the Under Construction icon and the great Flying E-Mail icon), and, while I forget just when or where, I don't want to take credit for work I didn't do. Along these same lines, I'd also like to give credit to the composers of all the MIDI sound files I've used. The problem is, I can't, since I shanghaied them from many-a-site. However, if anyone out there has any information on where they came from, please let me know so I can give proper credit. In the meantime, I'll see if I can backtrack to find their authors. Also, thanks to my web counting service, IC -- Internet Count for providing me with a simple and very cool counter. And yes, I do plan on having it reach that 100 thousandth place holder!

  • Way Cool Weddings/Kimberly & Carl White: We truly appreciate being named a Way Cool Wedding of the Week, and now the Way Cool Wedding of the YEAR! It not only validates our labors, but it also allows us to share our day with more people, and that's what it's really all about!
