12/29/97: GREAT NEWS!!! Our site has been named the Way Cool Wedding of the Year for 1997! 
Thanks to all of our
family and friends, as well as the rest of the Internet Community for making this most
prestigious award possible!
12/29/97: HEY! We've been named as a Way Cool
Wedding of the Year FINALIST!!! Check back on January 5th to see how we made out!
10/10/97: Okay, so I lied. The video never made
it. However, just in time for our first anniversary...an UPDATE!!! Well, the
only real updates are a slightly new look to the site, a new address on our Road Runner server (how's up to
10Mbps grab you for Internet access?) and a report that, against the Vegas odds, my wife
hasn't left me or gone nuts yet! Seriously, our first year has been pure
wedded bliss. We highly recommend the institution (marriage, that is) to anyone in
love enough to be considering it. Also, if and when I finally get my ____ in a pile,
I'll be adding some more pictures and reports of the past year's happenings. Come
back soon!
2/21/97: New pictures are here! Mostly they're on the Reception and Ceremony Pages, but I've
also added a couple of Leon on the Cats' Page, too, so take a
look. The video I mentioned earlier is soon to come, as are the other improvements I've
been promising. Stay tuned!
2/12/97: Another
"anniversary" today! This installment of the news is really fairly minor, just
updates, really. The soon to come Wedding Advice Center is still soon to come, as is a
little video of me, my new bride, and Leon the Miracle Cat. Also, I'll be adding a few
more pictures this President's day weekend between skiing and hockey, as well as doing
some general cleanup. So, stop back again soon!
1/12/97: Well, today is our
three-month anniversary, and I've finally gotten around to adding more pictures. About
20-25 new pictures scattered here and there. That brings the total number of linked pages
in this site to over 150. Wow...even I didn't expect this! Anyway, soon to come will be
some further enhancements like a free Wedding Advice Center (beware free advice), an
automated slide show, and a video or two. So, again, stay tuned...
1/8/97: LEON'S HOME!!!!!!! He came home with us today. I took a bunch
of pictures of him, and I'll be sure to post them ASAP. He's doing extremely
well, all things considered. We can tell that he's bored as anything, so we're busy trying
to keep him occupied! Also, isn't it amazing what winning an award can do? Our hit numbers
are up just a little since winning the Way Cool
Wedding of the Week, eh? This is great! Thanks so much to all of you who have visited
this site, many of you offering valuable comments and evaluation. As shallow as it may
sound, having people visit offers at least some validation for the time and effort that
went into building it. Thanks!
1/6/97: Hello again! Well, here we
are with yet another installment of NEWS...wonderfully, the news is nothing but
good. First and foremost, Leon the Miracle Cat gets to
come home tomorrow! But not only that, today one of our local newspapers, The Schenectady
Gazette, did a front page news story on him! You can
find the text of this article here. And, if all that
wasn't enough, we've been awarded the coolest award yet, the Way Cool Wedding Of The Week! Thanks to Kimberly and Carl White for this
honor. Also, don't worry...I plan on adding many more pictures later this week, so stay
tuned!
1/1/97: Hello and Happy New Year!
There's really not too much news today, except that the cats'
portion of our site won another award. This time we received "Kiki's Paw of Excellence". 
Not bad! Be sure to check back often, and also be sure to check out the cats' page for the story of the newest addition to our family, Leon, the miracle cat.
12/28/96: Today's news involves a
major improvement in the way you can sign the Guestbook, a number of minor cosmetic
improvements (minor to look at, major to incorporate), and the first award bestowed upon
us for this site. During my short respite from work during the holiday season, I have
ventured to fix some of what I considered nagging little problems. The major one was the
inability of our guests to easily sign the Guestbook. However,
this has all changed now that I've incorporated an easy form to fill out and submit. Check it out! Also, I happened upon a number of
little icons, ruled lines and other nifty doo-dads that I have placed strategically
throughout the site to add some flair, as well as usability, so see if you can find them.
As far as the award goes, we received the Whiskers
Cool Cat Award 
for the portion of the site about our cats. Not bad,
eh? Finally, we should be getting the bulk of our pictures back from the photographer this
weekend, so be on the lookout for myriad new scans to pop up over the coming week or two.

12/26/96: Recently I have
incorporated a few new features to this site. They're fairly minor, but still fairly cool.
These include MIDI music on all the main pages (except the first page which features true
.wav music)--but only if you're using Microsoft's Internet Explorer, scrolling marquee
messages here and there--again, only if you're using Microsoft's Internet Explorer,
smaller background images for faster downloads, smaller Wedding Invitation and Wedding
Program images for faster download of the Invitation and Program pages, and a couple of new pictures (there are many more to
come!). I've also been keeping up with the Guestbook, although
not too many people have signed in! :( Well, we
hope to see you here again soon!
