World Guides

Hello and welcome to the "Game Mechanics" area of the website. Wide eyed and full of idealism I have created the World Guides area in a manner that will allow me to add World Guides for as many systems as I want. That being said I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the focus of this site is providing rules for roleplaying using the HARP [High Adventure Role Playing] fantasy role playing system by ICE [Iron Crown Enterprises]. I have quite a bit of work to do in that area and I will not be looking at making any other conversions until I have the HARP conversions pretty much done. If anyone wants to venture into conversions for other systems be my guest and if you like I would have no problem linking to or hosting here those 'World Guides'.

I have much of the Rolemaster and D20 conversions but they are not in electronic format. Ideally I will get to them, but I won't be getting to them until after HARP. I can offer suggestions and hints for those systems - as well as general information regarding Whent that may not be up yet and may be needed for play. At the least I can tell you what I would - or have as the case may be - do if I was GMing in a particular situation. I will answer any email sent to me regarding Whent... Well, not the one from the Nigerian relative of the deposed president - but anything else...

As mentioned this is the game mechanics portion of the website. Withing these guides will be the information needed to create characters and GM a game using a given system of rules. Click on the link to the World Guide for the rules system you want and enjoy! General non-system specific information about the World of Whent may be found using the links under the Worldbook section in the javascript menu above.

Then email me and point out all the errors, inconsistencies and glaring holes so I can fix them for the next visitor.
