God instructs us to fellowship with other believers. It is important that we get together to worship the Lord, study and pray with one another. We are to watch over one another, to lift each other up when we fall or get discouraged. With the technology of the Internet, believers from all around the world can gather in one place (a chat room) and grow together also. This, however, is not to be a substitute for active involvement in a local church.

Hands Around The World is our channel. We are a group of believers of all ages, joining together from all parts of the world, bonded by our faith in Jesus Christ. We share our lives, our hobbies, our cares and our concerns. Full of fun and good laughter, we do have a serious side, which shifts us into prayer mode. We share and learn more about the bible, sometimes we play bible trivia and prayer is an important part of our chat. We are located on a good, clean, family safe IRC network.

Though we are a Christian channel, non believers are welcome to join us. We just ask that the chat be kept clean and that you respect the channel and our faith. We are open to discussions but we draw the fine line between discussion and debate. We discuss our faith and belief but we do not defend it. Jesus did all that at the Cross.
