Hey, thanks for stopping by and visiting my web page.  Hopefully you'll find that although it's poorly lacking in techie "bling", it's at least entertaining..

For you first-timers, I suppose I should give you a brief biography now, at least that's what everyone else does on their home page.  You know what they say, alas - when in Rome...
I apologize in advance for the dry wit and long-winded discourse.

Here are the Cliff Notes on me (and yes there will be a test at the end): I grew up in Clifton Park, but about five years ago I bought a house in Melrose. (Don't worry, I didn't know where that was either until I moved here.)

For fun, I teach middle school science, which requires my high energy level and rather unique sense of humor. That's right...I spend my day with about 300 13- and 14-year olds, so I can handle pretty much anything (and no, I'm not returning the President's calls).

I graduated from Shenendehowa High School, and went on to earn my A.A.S. in Fisheries & Wildlife Technology at SUNY Cobleskill.  I received my B.A. in Zoology from SUNY Oswego and my M.S. at the University at Albany.  I worked full-time as a biology technician before leaving the field for a real challenge.  I decided I wanted to "push the envelope", to test my mettle beyond mortal means......and decided to teach middle school!   This was quiet a paradigm shift from my laboratory job: plenty of stimuli, that's for sure.

If you're obliged, feel free to navigate my page to learn more about me.  In an effort to streamline your visit, I've painstakingly created a page for each of my eclectic interests.  However, in order to arouse your curiosity, the topics aren't overtly labelled, so to be further dazzled and enthralled by my utterly fascinating life...
